FAQ
Consecration means to dedicate oneself or one’s business to God, setting it apart for a holy purpose.
Personal consecration involves dedicating your will, desires, and plans entirely to God. This implies a complete surrender. When you consecrate your business to God, you invite Him to become the ultimate leader of your community. You view the business as a community and act as its steward, leading it according to the way of Christ. By consecrating your business, you receive the grace to lead it in a manner that pleases God. You set the business apart for a holy purpose.
Any business owners or founder of a nonprofit is welcome to consecrate their business, regardless of religious beliefs. However, our consecration process typically involves the Catholic Mass, which includes reception of the Holy Eucharist. Non-Catholic business owners can join the Association of Consecrated Companies, but they should understand that the community is rooted in Catholic tradition.
Equity owners of a business and founders of nonprofit organizations can consecrate their business through a Consecration Mass.
Watch our eight-part video series to reflect on the step you’re taking by consecrating your business. We also encourage you to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation before the Mass.
