Jeff grew up in Europe and earned his MBA and Ph.D. from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis in France. His dissertation was on the role of the consultant in Eastern Europe during the mid and late 1990’s, a time of great change as organizations moved out of centralized planning.
Following his Ph.D., Jeff pursued a career as a management professor in private Christian universities where he has served as faculty and administrator. He specializes in working with organizations undergoing high levels of change and chaos. He has worked with Walgreens to articulate their leadership model resulting from hiring people with disabilities. 40% of Walgreens distribution center employees in South Carolina self-report to have a disability (500 employees). Currently, he is working in employee development and executive leadership at Borg Warner, a major automotive manufacturing plant in South Carolina.
Jeff and his wife have adopted six of their eight children who come from Haiti, Philippines, Romania, and India. The family is currently working on assisting a local NGO to reduce the trafficking of children in Nepal through family strengthening and foster care programs.
