Un empleado suele hacer lo que le pides por m\u00e1s de una raz\u00f3n. Necesita el sueldo y, con suerte, tambi\u00e9n cree en ti y en tu misi\u00f3n. No hay nada de malo en lo primero, ya que alguien que mantiene a una familia debe preocuparse por lo que le paga su trabajo. Lo que queda es el respeto, que es lo que pasa cuando tus palabras y acciones influyen en las de otra persona; el esfuerzo no se compra, se gana. Te das cuenta poco a poco del impacto que tienes en \u00e9l en esa semana en la que necesitas que alguien haga algo inc\u00f3modo y sin supervisi\u00f3n que haga que un proyecto pase de ser bueno a ser excelente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lo que realmente cuesta el respeto<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hay seis comportamientos que lo determinan, y cada uno de ellos se aprende, no se hereda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paga el costo.<\/strong> Te sacrificas por el grupo de una forma que ellos puedan notar con el tiempo, ya sea esa reducci\u00f3n salarial que aceptaste antes de que te pagaran o ese s\u00e1bado que pasaste en la planta de producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genera resultados.<\/strong> Las cosas mejoran sin falta cuando te involucras, y esa mejora se debe a ti y no a la suerte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cumple tu palabra.<\/strong> Lo que digas que va a pasar\u2026 pasa, en todos los casos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aplica la norma.<\/strong> No dejas que la gente te pase por encima a ti o a los tuyos una y otra vez sin que haya consecuencias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mostr\u00e1 moderaci\u00f3n.<\/strong> Te contenes cuando podr\u00edas castigar m\u00e1s duro, y le das m\u00e1s cr\u00e9dito del que estrictamente es necesario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mant\u00e9n la calma.<\/strong> Tu peor d\u00eda se parece mucho a un d\u00eda cualquiera. Te ven como alguien de confianza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las dos formas en que los due\u00f1os pierden la cabeza<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Si impones demasiado, te conviertes en un tirano. La gente se rebelar\u00e1 en cuanto tu poder sobre ellos se acabe, porque el miedo era el \u00fanico mecanismo que hab\u00edas construido. Por el contrario, si haces todo lo dem\u00e1s y nunca impones nada, te conviertes en el \u00abfelpudo\u00bb admirado, querido y discretamente ignorado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Que te quieran en lugar de que te teman no es algo con lo que naces; es algo que logras tras a\u00f1os de compromiso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
