Por la ma\u00f1ana rezas por tu familia y tus intenciones personales, y luego, durante el trayecto al trabajo, te pasas el tiempo pensando en una factura atrasada y en un problema de personal que a\u00fan no has resuelto. Es f\u00e1cil llegar a la oficina sin haberle compartido nada de eso a Dios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esas responsabilidades deben formar parte de tu oraci\u00f3n, porque no te distraen de tu vocaci\u00f3n. Son parte de ella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toda persona bautizada comparte la misma vocaci\u00f3n principal: llegar a ser santo. Esa vocaci\u00f3n se concreta en las responsabilidades cotidianas de la vida diaria, en tu matrimonio, tu familia y tu trabajo. La segunda vocaci\u00f3n es la forma particular en que se te pide que la vivas. Para el due\u00f1o de un negocio, significa dirigir la empresa con honestidad y cuidar a las personas que te han sido confiadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pensar en tu trabajo de esta manera hace que te resulte m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil dejar de lado esas obligaciones. Si eres due\u00f1o de un negocio y est\u00e1s casado, tu segunda vocaci\u00f3n debe encajar con tus responsabilidades hacia tu pareja y tus hijos. El hecho de que el negocio sea tu vocaci\u00f3n no te da permiso para ausentarte de casa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La responsabilidad que tienes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Como due\u00f1o, t\u00fa ayudas a decidir qu\u00e9 espera tu empresa de las personas y c\u00f3mo las trata. Tus gerentes comparten esa responsabilidad, pero tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n atentos a lo que t\u00fa recompensas, pasas por alto y haces t\u00fa mismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hay cosas que no se pueden delegar. Puedes delegar decisiones sobre salarios o comunicaci\u00f3n. Pero sigues siendo responsable de que tus gerentes sigan las normas establecidas y de que tengan lo necesario para tratar a la gente de manera justa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando un supervisor humilla a un empleado y t\u00fa lo dejas pasar, ya has tomado una decisi\u00f3n sobre c\u00f3mo es el ambiente de trabajo. Cuando admites que una promesa poco realista a un cliente ha puesto al equipo bajo presi\u00f3n, les muestras a tus jefes lo que significa asumir la responsabilidad de un error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estas decisiones merecen el mismo examen de conciencia que haces con el resto de tu vida. \u00bfEn qu\u00e9 aspectos has sido injusto? \u00bfA qui\u00e9n le debes una disculpa o un cambio en tu forma de actuar?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

San Pablo les dijo a los colosenses que hicieran todo, tanto de palabra como de obra, en el nombre del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas (Colosenses 3:17). No hizo ninguna excepci\u00f3n con las decisiones que tomes sobre las condiciones de trabajo de otras personas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las personas detr\u00e1s del trabajo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En El peso de la gloria<\/em>, C. S. Lewis escribi\u00f3: \u201cNo hay gente com\u00fan. Nunca has hablado con un simple mortal\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recuerda esto cuando un empleado vuelva a cometer el mismo error o un cliente cuestione una factura. Cada persona tiene su dignidad, que se mantiene incluso cuando la conversaci\u00f3n se pone dif\u00edcil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A\u00fan as\u00ed, tienes que corregir los errores y esperar que el trabajo se haga bien. P\u00eddele a Dios la paciencia para escuchar y el valor para hablar con sinceridad, sin humillar a la persona que tienes enfrente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qu\u00e9 significa el ROI eterno en la pr\u00e1ctica<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Esta semana, elige una decisi\u00f3n de negocios y ll\u00e9vala a la oraci\u00f3n. Preg\u00fantate a qui\u00e9n afecta, qu\u00e9 les debes y en qu\u00e9 aspectos necesitas la gracia de Dios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puedes empezar por ofrecerle tu trabajo a Dios mientras vas en el auto<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
