This December, Columbia Forest Products caring team, in coordination with McDowell County’s Adult Department of Social Services, gave away treat bags to nearly 500 adult disabled persons.
The program benefited about 300 to 325 disabled persons in the facilities and about 200 from the communities, all aged 18 or above, according to Adult Services Supervisor Ray Burleson.
What a wonderful way to spread the cheer this wonderful season.
