His Way At Work was invited to the Conscious Capitalism Atlanta launching where Prof. Raj Sisodia (FW Olin Distinguished Professor of Global Business Babson College in Lexington, MA) shared his view of how the business world is becoming “Conscious” of what the business leaders roles are.
Conscious Capitalism, Inc. is a global non-profit organization whose purpose is to elevate humanity through business. Its vision is a world where business is both practiced and perceived as a force for good. Conscious Capitalism is a way of thinking about capitalism and business that better reflects where we are in the human journey, the state of our world today, and the innate potential of business to make a positive impact on the world. A key tenet of Conscious Capitalism is creation of shared-value across all business stakeholders, including shareholders but balanced with employees, suppliers, partners, communities, the environment or any entity that the business impacts. Conscious Capitalism is definitively pro-business and pro free-enterprise.
Raj is also a prolific business writer, who, along with Whole Foods Market co-founder and CEO, John Mackey, co-authored Conscious Capitalism: Liberating the Heroic Spirit of Business in 2012. Raj also co-authored the 2007 best-seller, Firms of Endearment.
